Pitch work for Cancer Council based on the insight that people are more likely to give to charity if there’s something in it for them too – meanies. Here’s the concept copy:

Hey! You look like you’re pretty bright. Not as bright as me though.
These petals aren’t just pretty – they’re flashy too. Just watch’em go!

Now i’ve got a deal for you. If you can pat my perky petals in the order

I flash’em, i’ll give you a chance to win that VW Beetle down there. A beautie, she is – my favourite colour too. Keep up with me for as long as you can – I’m not going anywhere! To get another game, and another, and another, just email some of your mates about me. Each one gives you another chance at that car. Of course, I’m not just doing this for the good of my health. Hang on, I am – I’m doing it for the health of all of us. Because there isn’t anyone who isn’t touched by cancer one way or another.

Daffodil day is August the 4th, but you can play Pat-a-petal right through July and August – I’ll be worn out by the end of it! So do me a favour and make it worth my while support Daffodil Day and send some bucks to the Cancer Council.
