Weight Watchers

Until this year the Weight Watchers Healthy Life Awards (previously Slimmer of the Year) were a lengthy manual paper process. The client’s fear was moving the whole campaign online before consumers were ready would seriously affect entry numbers. We played enormous importance in ironing out the things that bug you when filling in forms, we introduced; auto saves, part fill and return, ajax expandable fields and easier sections.

The site was one of the early endless scrolls for commercial use and allowed pre-populated entries to randomly fill the screen as viewers were asked to make their vote and offer words of encouragement.

Added to this was a wyswyg back end and a PR friendly profile synopsis ready for launch. It was a time consuming exercise but a sometimes a simple form is a beautiful thing. Entries increased from previous years and now the whole program has migrated online.
